    Supported Employment: An Overview

    November 18, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
    Pleasanton USD District Office Campus

    This workshop will provide an overview of supported employment and the intake process as well as supports provided during employment. This presentation may also include a job developer/ job coach and persons with disabilities receiving supported employment services. No pre-registration required. Free!

Professional Development
    The Diagnostic Center of Northern CA has developed a number of professional training and workshop offerings in response to local and statewide needs. Their published syllabus describes the training opportunities available throughout the year… including:
    • One day and half-day workshops: held in your region or district
    • Comprehensive training and technical assistance projects: in-depth content training and multiple levels of follow-up support, including demonstration teaching and on-site consultation
    • Web-based training: select training opportunities designed to provide consultation services to professionals and training to parents by accessing the Internet
    • Video-conferencing capabilities: select mini-training opportunities on curriculum topics
